1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using The Edit Motion's services, website, or client portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
These terms apply to all clients, visitors, and users of theeditmotion.com and any related services provided by The Edit Motion LLC, a Wyoming-registered limited liability company.
2. Services
The Edit Motion provides subscription-based professional video editing and motion graphics services. Specific deliverables, turnaround times, and revision allowances are defined by the subscription plan selected at checkout.
- All services are delivered digitally via the client portal.
- Turnaround time begins when all required raw footage and project assets have been received.
- We reserve the right to decline projects that contain illegal, offensive, or harmful content.
3. Subscriptions & Billing
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis. By subscribing, you authorize The Edit Motion to charge your payment method on file each billing cycle.
- All prices are listed in USD.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing date.
- No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time via the client portal or by contacting us.
4. Revisions
Each subscription plan includes a defined number of revision rounds per project. Additional revisions beyond the included amount may be subject to extra charges at our standard revision rate.
Revision requests must be submitted through the client portal with clear, written notes. Verbal requests are not accepted.
5. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment of all fees, you own the final delivered video files. The Edit Motion retains the right to display finished work in our portfolio, showreel, and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to all raw footage, music, and assets submitted to us. The Edit Motion is not liable for any third-party intellectual property claims arising from client-supplied materials.
6. Confidentiality
We treat all client materials and project details as confidential. We will not share, sell, or disclose your materials to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
7. Turnaround & Delivery
Standard turnaround is 3 business days from the time all project assets are received. Rush delivery may be available upon request and is subject to availability and additional fees.
The Edit Motion is not liable for delays caused by incomplete asset submissions, client communication delays, or circumstances beyond our control.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Edit Motion LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 30 days preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to services at our discretion, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that is harmful to our business or other clients.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wyoming.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via email.
